Flow metrics are actual measurements, not the guesses that velocity and story points are based on. They're fundamentally quite simple and yet there are subtleties that make them not immediately obvious.

In this course, I'll walk you through the four main flow metrics that I always start with: WIP, Throughput, Cycletime, and Work Item Age.

We'll look at the relationships between the four and will also dive deep into each one individually. We'll also talk about how these can be gamed and how we might avoid that.
